We move frequently and go for months without my daughters normal crib and this takes the place when we are on the road and without her crib and it's perfect. I love that I can zip it shut and contain her (19 months old) and she can still see me through the mesh windows. I love that it's light and fits well in a suit case.
The smell of the fabric/plastic took a while to fade but it wasn't bad after leaving it open for a day.
We also use this as a ball pit, play house and a sun shade.

We used the Kidco PeaPod when our son was an infant, and loved it so much that we decided to get the larger PeaPod Plus now that he's a toddler. We travel quite a bit, and it is the best travel bed! However, since our first one was red, we thought we would go with the yellow one this time. (Yellow is my favorite color.) What they don't tell you is that this one DOES NOT come with the sleeping bag insert, which is available with several of the other colors. I wish I had paid closer attention to what accessories were included before I purchased this one, because I would have bought another red one for that insert. It is so convenient to have that insert since it fits in perfectly, and you can just throw it in the wash. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but it really is. Quick silver plus model does NOT have self- inflating mattress! - Leo's mom - Boston or NYC
I just got the quick silver plus peapod kidco tent/ travel bed and was surprised that it didn't have the self inflating mattress... NOR a pump... its just the old fashioned blow by mouth air valve- and it's a pretty big mattress! needless to say, I'm returning it and getting the blue camo plus one which DOES have a self inflating mattress-for the same price. it's really too bad because I like the yellow- non-military non-gendered color much better-it was clear from ads that the red plus has a pump, but is not self inflating. The ad for this quick silver model was misleading- calling it the NEW mattress and the fact that it is model 203, a later model than 202 which does have the self inflating feature..
I didn't even set up the tent, so I can't review any other aspect of it.
